How to Help

We are a client-centered, grass-roots organization with services provided by cancer survivors and their support persons. We promote healthy survivorship through education, healing support and hope, enabling each person to become their own best medical advocate.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the heart of our organization. Opportunities to volunteer for the Breast Health Project are many and varied, from supporting clients to office tasks such as bulk mailings or assembling health fair information packets. If you are interested in joining our circle of friends, please visit the volunteer page.

"Over the past two decades we have seen a growing body of research that indicates volunteering provides individual health benefits in addition to social benefits." (The Health Benefits of Volunteering: A Review of Recent Research, Corporation for National and Community Service)

Donations

The Breast Health Project is supported financially in great part by the generosity of donors. As a private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization, all monies received go directly towards the project.

Please consider making a tax deductible donation to support women in our community who touched by breast or gynecologic cancer and concerned about breast health. We accept donations on line by PayPal or you may print a donation form and mail it to the address provided.

Legacy Gift

With a Legacy Gift to the Breast Health Project, you can help insure that other women and their families receive the help they need while facing breast or gynecologic cancer. You can also reduce or eliminate estate tax, increase your income, decrease taxes, bypass capital gains, and give the gift of hope and help to others.

View our Legacy Gift page for more information.
